Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which also offers us the online e-commerce platform we require to market and sell our products.  

Databases, the main Shopify application, and data storage are where your data is kept safe. They keep your information on a safe server surrounded by a firewall.

Payment:

If you decide to complete your purchase through a direct payment gateway, Shopify retains your credit card information, which is encrypted using the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). The information about your purchase transaction is only stored for the duration necessary to complete the transaction before being removed. Unless specifically asked by a customer, Viho Vapes is unable to view or retain all credit card information.

PCI-DSS standards are met by all direct payment gateways and are managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a consortium that includes American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, and Visa. PCI-DSS requirements ensure that our store and its service providers process credit card information securely.

  • Shopify uses the unique tokens _session_id and sessional to store information about your session, including the referrer and landing page.
  • _Shopify_visit, no data stored, lasting for half an hour following the previous visit: used to track visits by the internal statistics tracker of our website provider.
  • _Shopify_uniq, no data stored, expires at midnight (the visitor's time) the following day: Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
  • cart, distinct token, and two-week persistence: retains details about the items in your cart.
  •  sessional, unique token, _secure_session_id.
  • storefront_digest, distinct token, everlasting: This is used to check if the current visitor has access or if the shop has a password.
  • Google Analytics: PREF, which is set by Google and tracks who visits the store and from where, is persistent for a very short time.
